Aaron Brody
is president of Packaging/Brody, Inc., providing food and food packaging technology and marketing consulting. He is an adjunct professor at the University of Georgia, and senior instructor at the Keller Graduate School of Management. He also is technical and marketing information editor of Brand Packaging and contributing editor of Food Technology. Before assuming his current position, Brody was with Rubbright Brody, Inc. Previously, he held positions with CCA, Meat Packaging; Arthur D. Little; Whirlpool; Raytheon, and General Foods. He has developed pre-cooked frozen foods, microwave food heating, modified atmosphere food preservation, aseptic packaging of high acid foods, and low-dose food irradiation. A graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he is a fellow of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) and an honorary life member of the Institute of Packaging Professionals. He has received the IFT's Nicholas Appert Award, Industrial Scientist Award, Industrial Achievement Award, and Riester-Davis Award.
