March 10 - March 13, 2004
University of Southern California/Annenberg School for Communication USC Center for Philanthropy and Public Policy
This timely seminar explored the social, political, economic and cultural role of philanthrophy in the 21st Century. Fellows met with recognized experts from academia, the "third sector" of philanthropists and nonprofits and regulators as part of a curriculum designed to help pull back the curtain from one of the most under-covered beats.

What fellows have to say about past seminars:
"The (Western Knight Center) program is like a nice piece of writing: tight, bright and brilliant. The work put into the planning, organization and content was evident in how smoothly it all came off. The reputation of the program was demonstrated by the quality of the expert speakers it attracted and the time they were willing to share."
